The Lioness Club of Cayucos attempts to keep the community and her beaches clean of dog waste through the Mutt Mitt Project. The project supplies to the community:
55 dispensers located from Toro Creek on the South to the Estero Bluffs
Dispensers at all beach accesses and downtown.
Over 300,000 Mutt Mitt waste bags supplied to those dispensers
24 trash containers to collect the refuse bags
Trash “pick-up” service 2-3 times weekly
Host an annual Dog Parade the day before Easter Sunday
Host an entry in the 4th of July community Parade
