The Cayucos Lioness Club was founded in 1950 as a women's service club to serve the Cayucos community and to assist the Cayucos Lions Club with its community service projects when requested to do so. History
Membership in the Lioness Club is open to wives, mothers, sisters, widows and daughters (18 years and older) of Lions in good standing, and to other civic minded women who work or live in Cayucos provided they are sponsored by a Lioness member who feels they will be an asset to the Club.
The Lioness Club's regular meetings are held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Hall in Cayucos on the third Tuesday evening of each month to share a meal, socialize, and conduct the Club's business which includes committee reports on community service and fund raising activities .
